Garden skinny - my personal scoop on gardening

Super Greens!

;

I love salads, all kinds. I love growing them and I love eating them. And cooler weather in Florida means fresh lettuce in my garden. A sample, if you will…  Swiss chard — healthy and colorful.

Romaine  — strong and delicious; a classic.

Arugula — we’ve found this guy tends to be a bit spicier than we imagined.

Bibb/buttercrunch — a delicacy, in my book.

How about you?  The nutritious payback is AWESOME.

    Your greens are looking good. The arugula is spicier than I expected too. You definitely don’t need much of it in the salad mix.

      Thank you! My arugula is bitter to the point it’s nearly inedible. Perhaps picking the baby leaves would help?
