Orange Apple Bourbon

For a fresh take on bourbon, this fall-harvest cocktail recipe is a must try, combining a unique blend of garden-fresh ingredients from the garden. Feel free to modify level of bourbon to suit your taste buds.

Fall-Inspired BourbonOrange Apple Bourbon

1.5 ounces bourbon (1 shot)
5 ounces apple cider
Freshly squeezed juice of 1/4 lemon
Freshly squeezed juice of 1/6 orange
1 TBSP Cinnamon sugar, for rimming glass
Garnish with slice of orange, apple and fresh ginger

In a cocktail shaker, add the bourbon, apple cider and freshly squeezed lemon and orange juice. Shake well and set aside. Place cinnamon sugar on a shallow plate. Moisten rim of 8-ounce glass with the squeezed orange section, then dip the moistened rim into the cinnamon sugar and coat well. Fill an 8-ounce glass with ice. Pour bourbon mixture over ice. Garnish with fresh slices of fruit and ginger. Enjoy!
