As the air grows cooler and drier, I find myself slathering on the lotion. Am I dehydrated? Maybe. Or maybe it’s just too much time outside in the garden without the humidity (my hair thanks you!), but my skin needs a little TLC. Luckily I’ve found some fabulous lotion to do the trick! I do love technology that can blend nature with need, don’t you?
One of my new favorites is from Organic Indulgence. Believe it or not, I discovered this gem during a school fundraiser for my kids. Yep, leafing through the magazine in search of something to buy to show my support, I stumbled upon this lotion. When I saw the words White Nectarine and Orange Blossom, I was like a bee on honey! YUM!
Next on my list is anything avocado. It works for the body, hair and skin? You bet. It’s rich, thick and glorious–especially when mixed with shea butter like LaNatura does. Incredible supple lotion!
If you’re looking for hand creams, may I suggest a gardener’s best friend? I’ve found an intensive therapy hand cream that will not only rejuvenate your senses, but it will soothe and moisturizer–available in pure lavender or herbal mint. Sheer heaven, if you ask me.
But I must confess, my all-time favorite lotion is Hand Relief by Aveda. I love the way it smells, I love the way it feels… Add their Rosemary Mint cleanser and up goes the “Do Not Disturb” sign. Mom is on a spa stay-cation. And lovin’ life!
