Acai Breakfast Bowl

The acai bowl is perfectly-suited for breakfast, but can certainly be modified for a healthy dessert.
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup frozen acai berries
  • ½ fresh banana
  • ½ cup frozen mix of fruit and vegetables
  • 2 TBSP juice, orange, pomegrante or acai
  • granola
  • honey
  • fresh fruit slices
Instructions
  1. Place fruit ingredients in a blender.
  2. Add juice.
  3. Blend several minutes until creamy smooth.
  4. Top with granola, syrup and fresh fruit.
  5. Serve immediately.
Notes
Variations for this recipe are numerous and only limited to your taste buds. For your vegetables, try kale, spinach, carrots and broccoli. Fruit choices include mango, pineapple, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, banana, apples, and grapes.
